Privacy Policy

Effective: 13 August 2026

This notice explains how Hurstken Resources Network Solutions, trading publicly as Hurstken Networks, handles personal information across its website, ISP platform and customer portal. It should be reviewed periodically as the platform and applicable requirements evolve.

1. Information we may process

Depending on how you use our services, this may include name, email, phone number, organisation and site information, account roles, subscriber records, plan and subscription information, payment status and references, support communications, router/account identifiers, device or session information such as IP/MAC data where required for network operations, and technical security logs.

2. Why we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide ISP and customer-portal services, administer subscriptions and payments, operate and support network services, provide help content, prevent abuse, maintain audit/security records, communicate service information, and meet applicable legal or regulatory obligations.

3. ISP customer data

Where an independent ISP uses the Hurstken Networks platform to manage its own subscribers, that ISP determines much of the purpose and content of its customer records. Hurstken may process that information as the platform/service provider to deliver the requested functionality. ISPs remain responsible for giving their own customers appropriate notices and using customer information lawfully.

4. Payments and service providers

Payments may be processed through payment providers such as Paystack or bank transfer workflows. We may also use infrastructure, authentication, email, hosting and database service providers necessary to operate the platform. We do not intentionally expose payment secret keys to customer-facing browser code.

5. Security

We use measures such as authentication, role-based access, row-level database policies, server-side privileged functions, session timeouts, secure payment verification and audit controls. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, account history, security, billing, dispute handling and legal obligations. Retention periods may differ by data type and the role of the relevant ISP.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable Nigerian data-protection law, individuals may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal and complaints. Requests may require identity verification and may be subject to lawful exceptions.

8. International processing

Some technology providers may process or store information outside Nigeria. Where applicable, we seek to use providers and safeguards appropriate to the service and applicable data-protection requirements.

9. Cookies and local storage

Our applications may use essential browser storage or cookies for authentication, security and application preferences. If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, this notice and any consent controls should be updated accordingly.

10. Children

The ISP management platform is intended for business/authorised users. ISPs serving younger customers remain responsible for appropriate lawful handling and guardian/consent requirements where applicable.
